longing for the kiva

I'm feeling really displaced lately and have tried hanging out at the hippie stores to feel a little bit of the Oregon I am missing. Here's my frustration with Utah (one among many)-the "hippie" stores here lack the authenticity of the Oregon stores. The natural food store is more of a status symbol than it is a way of life and as such everything is commercial and overpriced. If anyone knows of a good salt lake store let me know. I MISS THE HIPPPIES!!
